Allied
Mineral Products announces the following personnel changes effective
April 1, 2009:
Jon R. Tabor is
promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer reporting to Jon K.
Tabor, CEO and Chairman.
Jon R. Tabor takes over from John L. Turner
who retired effective March 31, 2009.
Jon is in his nineteenth year with Allied
and most recently was Executive Vice President and General Manager.
Prior to Allied, Jon worked 10 years at Eli
Lilly and Company, a worldwide producer of pharmaceuticals and medical
equipment.
Douglas K. Doza has
been promoted to Executive Vice President reporting to Jon R. Tabor.
Doug has been with Allied 24 years.
He was most recently Senior Vice President
for Research and Manufacturing.
Doug will continue to be responsible for
these areas as well as now overseeing the Human Resources Department.
Dr. Dana G. Goski
is promoted to Director, Research reporting to Doug Doza.
Dana has been with Allied 13 years, all of
this time in Research.
Dana has significantly helped Allied’s
Research and Technology Group to become the best in the refractories
industry.
She also has worked extensively with the
Sales Department to increase Allied’s business in industrial markets.
Peter L. Satre is
promoted to Manager, Engineering.
Pete has worked at Allied for 9 years, all
of this time in Allied’s Technical Services Group.
Pete will oversee an expanded Engineering
Group consisting of the Application Engineering Group and the Design
Engineering Group.
Consolidating these two groups will allow
for improved service to Allied’s customers through better and faster
communication.
Robert L.
Wilson has been appointed Manager,
Design Engineering reporting to Pete Satre.
Bob has been with Allied for 13 years
serving as both an engineer and administrative supervisor within this
group.
David N. Stanic has
been promoted to Senior Regional Sales Manager, Foundry.
Dave has worked in Foundry Sales for more
than 21 years, most recently as a Regional Sales Manager.
Senior Sales Manager is a new position that
reflects outstanding achievement in field sales management.
Brett M. Spychalski
is promoted to Matrix Sales Manager.
Brett has been with Allied for 15 years.
He spent the last 6 years with the Matrix
Refractories sales team and has additional experience in Foundry sales,
Power Plant sales and Resale Products.
Matrix Refractories is a division of Allied
specializing in refractories for the aluminum industry.
Bruce A. Voisine
has been promoted to Eastern Regional Sales Manager replacing John
Bissell who retired March 31, 2009.
Bruce has been with Allied for 16 years, all
of this in his current sales territory.
Bruce has grown sales in a regional market
characterized by shrinking industry.
He has been one of Allied’s early leaders in
developing non-foundry customers.
Laura C. Irwin has
been promoted to Manager of Inside Sales, Steel.
Laura has 10 years of experience at Allied
covering International Sales, Marketing and Logistics.
This new position will support the growing
steel industry business through internal project management.
